i am up when everyone else is down

down when everyone’s up

i can’t get out of my own way

i can’t get out of my own head

my body is backwards and

there is nothing to do about it

time disintegrates as

the light in the days grows shorter and

silence at night gets louder and

unspeakable horrors shape my unconscious

there’s no days anymore

just endless nights waiting for tomorrow

waiting for the sun to take me back and

let me belong to the day again
